Environmental Policy Statement
XMA's environment policy is to minimise
any adverse affects its activities have on the environment, comply
with, and preferably exceed, any relevant legislation and actively
encourage the use of recycled or recyclable products.
This will be achieved by:
- reviewing annually our environmental performance,
objectives and targets.
- reducing pollution and the risk of pollution
from our sites and processes.
- monitoring energy usage and the efficiency
thereof, to minimise usage and maximise efficiency
- actively promoting environmentally friendly,
recycled or recyclable items as regards the sale of products
to XMA's customers and internal usage.
- minimising packaging and
wherever economically viable using recycled or recyclable materials
and requiring packaging to be reused.
The policy will be implemented by commitment
demonstrated by Directors and Managers and will be communicated
to staff, visitors, suppliers, our customers and the public via
a variety of media including notice boards, the intranet, our web
sites and upon request.
