HP OPERATES THE INDUSTRY’S FIRST AND ONLY “CLOSED LOOP” INKJET CARTRIDGE  RECYCLING PROCESS, USING RECYCLED MATERIALS FROM OUR OWN PRODUCTS TO MAKE NEW ONES.

Our inkjet cartridge recycling process uses recycled plastics from our own products and from other sources (minimum 95% post-consumer) in the production of a wide range of new, Original HP inkjet cartridges.

Through 2008, we manufactured more than 565 million inkjet cartridges using post-consumer recycled plastics as raw material. For those inkjet cartridges that use recycled plastic resins, 30 to 75% of the cartridges’ new moulded plastic housing is made from recycled plastics*.

At HP, we like our cartridges to go on and on and on,

long into the future.
