Secondary Healthcare Solutions

Brother has a proven track record in healthcare IT - with many UK hospitals now using our products. We've developed close working relationships with leading clinical software providers including iSOFT and Cerner, to ensure our products are compatible with your secondary healthcare systems.

We've been able to develop products to meet your needs and our HL-5350DN-BC mono laser printer offers features such as barcode printing solutions 'straight from the box', without any hidden additional costs. Printing wrist tags, specimen sacks, patient notes as well as general correspondence, this versatile printer is designed with hospitals in mind.

Patient confidentiality is built into many of our products. Our colour laser products have Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which protects documents against hacking and the option to use PIN numbers, restricting access to sensitive data such as patient records via a secure PIN.

Pharmacy Healthcare Printing

Our printers are used in 80% of doctors’ practices in the UK, and it's been estimated that more than 1 million prescriptions are now printed on Brother printers daily. Over the years we've developed close working relationships with leading pharmacy software providers including AAH, RX Systems and Cegedim Rx, to ensure that our products are compatible with pharmacy systems.

So you can be assured of compatibility and reliability of our printers, particularly with the recent introduction of EPS Release 2 - the changeover from paper-based prescriptions to electronic generated prescriptions. Its aim is to make the processing of repeat prescriptions more efficient.

Essentially, EPS Release 2 allows patients to nominate a pharmacy to which GPs will directly send their prescription electronically. Pharmacies will then print out and prepare the prescription ready for patients to collect.
